Maya Daniels serves as Voter, Outreach, and Legal Director, bringing experience in law, public policy, government, and community advocacy.
Maya earned her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 2026 and her Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University in 2018. During her time at Wake Forest, Maya organized voter registration and
Get Out the Vote events for students and Winston-Salem community members.
Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, Maya learned early that voting is your voice, a philosophy she has carried throughout her career. As a community advocate, she is dedicated to strengthening community partnerships, expanding voter engagement, and ensuring voters have the information and resources they need to participate in the electoral process.
Outside of her advocacy work, Maya enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and playing with their dog, Mars.
